Commencement of Construction Ceremony
Work has started on the construction of the Pitt Street North over station development - Parkline Place, a commercial tower integrated seamlessly with Sydney Metro’s Pitt Street Station.
To mark the start of construction, we were joined by Oxford Properties and Mitsubishi Estate, the co-owners of Parkline Place, the Sydney Metro team with whom we are collaborators on this project, Foster + Partners, our architects and CPB Contractors, our construction partner.
Aunty Joan May, from Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council introduced the event with a Welcome to Country, followed by speeches by key representatives of Investa, Oxford and Mitsubishi, followed by a ‘hands in cement’ ceremony to celebrate this important milestone.
The 39-story premium grade office will be combined commercial and retail space with direct access to every mode of transport infrastructure in the Sydney CBD. Parkline Place boasts leading smart building and sustainability features, once completed, the building will be a fully electrified building with 100% renewable energy and leading ESG credentials including targeted 6-Star Green Star rating and Platinum WELL certification.
We thank our guests of honour for officiating the ceremony and offer congratulations to the entire Parkline Place team on this important construction milestone.
